Academic Journals
One of the best way to include academic literature in your dissertation is by using academic journals. The easiest way to find them are in Google Scholar
This mean is very accurate by searching peer reviewed journals, books and all kind of specif information with simple keywords. However, not all documents are available to see online, many of them are. In the other case you will to have access from the Journal sites. Usually your college or university will provide access to sites such as: BUSINESS SOURCE PREMIER which is the largest full text business database, Business Source Premier provides full text for nearly 8,350 scholarly business journals and other sources, including full text for more than 1,100 scholarly business publications. Coverage includes virtually all subject areas related to business. This database provides full text (PDF) for more than 350 of the top scholarly journals (including Harvard Business Review) dating as far back as 1922.

It can take you quite a lot of time to do aaaaallll the referencing at the end of your research that is why if you want to save time for Harvard referencing ask Neil for his toolbox help!

Monkey Business

There are many many site providing survey services and most of them are for FREE, only the basic account, which is very helpful if you are conducting a simple survey. Now.... if you have to take it to the next level: standard deviation, variance, median, mode and mean, and many other statistical calculations, you should consider programmes such as SPSS....
The Survey Monkey website can help you to gather the data and arrange it for you in a nice, tidy very easy to read spread sheet, this service is available for almost 20 dollars monthly. An advantage of this is that you are able to submit the spread sheet information into SPSS and have a more detailed analysis
Quick Data Collection
For those who are students are will have to do a survey, the easiest way I found is to take the non- probability sampling technique is the "SNOWBALL"; this suggest that you need firstly to identify the cases that are likely to match your survey requirements, e-mail them and consequently ask them to forward the survey to other cases. Translation : email your contacts and ask them to fwd the survey to their contacts, this contact chain can bring a lot of respondents very quickly.
